The Rewards Catalogue¶
Create the rewards customers can redeem with their points — from discount codes to free sessions, courses and in-store items. Customers browse and redeem them 24/7 in the Rewards Store in LINE.
Navigation Path:
Loyalty (Beta) → Rewards
1. Create a Reward¶
Click Add New Reward and define the basics:
- Reward Name and Description: What the customer sees in the store.
- Points Cost: The price in points.
- Reward Type: Voucher, Coupon, Service or Physical Product.
- Reward Source Type: For catalogue-backed rewards, attach a real item — a Service, Service Package, Course, Bundle or Voucher Template. On redemption the customer receives the real thing, ready to book or use.
- Stock Level: Limit how many can be redeemed (
-1for unlimited) — never oversell a reward. - Validity (Days): How long an issued reward stays valid after redemption.
- Reward Image: A clear image sells the reward — this is what customers browse.
2. Fulfillment Configuration¶
Choose how the reward is delivered:
- Fulfillment Method:
- Manual review — staff confirm each redemption (good for in-store claims).
- Coupon code — a unique, single-use code is issued to the customer.
- Auto apply — the discount applies automatically at checkout.
- Discount Type and Discount Value: None, Percentage, or Fixed amount.
- Coupon Code Prefix: Optional custom prefix for issued codes.
3. Reward Rules¶
Fine-tune who can redeem the reward, and where it applies:
- Minimum Spend and Max Discount: Spending floor and discount ceiling.
- Per Customer Limit: e.g. once per person, ever (blank for unlimited).
- Valid From / Valid Until: The window the reward is available in the store.
- Checkout Types: Restrict to Bookings, Service Packages, Vouchers and/or Bundles.
- Restrictions: Limit to specific Services, Packages, Courses, Bundles or Branches.
- Eligible Tiers: Make a reward Gold-only — leave empty for all tiers.
- Combine with tier discount / Combine with other codes: Control stacking.
- Is Active & Visible to Customers: Activate or deactivate at any time.
4. How Discounts Apply at Checkout¶
When a customer checks out, FoxConnect calculates the price transparently:
- Base price of the booking, package, bundle or voucher
- Minus the automatic tier discount (if their tier qualifies for this item)
- Minus the reward coupon, if a valid code is applied
The customer sees a clear breakdown before paying, and the system explains why a discount didn't apply — "minimum spend not met", "not valid for this service", "can't be combined with your tier discount".
Codes are consumed exactly once, at the moment payment succeeds — a double-tap or a retried payment can never spend a code twice.
5. Handling Redemptions¶
- Customers redeem rewards themselves in the Rewards Store in LINE; issued vouchers and codes appear under My Rewards with status and expiry.
- For in-store claims, the customer shows their code at the counter — staff mark it used in Loyalty (Beta) → Claims with Mark as Used.
- The Claims tab lists every redemption, with a badge showing how many are outstanding.
